DESCRIPTION:Hockey Ireland\, in partnership with the IHUA and Leinster Umpires\, are offering a training opportunities for creation / upskilling of a Club Umpire Officer in your club. This role involves: \n\nBeing the main point of contact for umpire development within the club\nWorking actively to recruit and support registered club umpires\nMaintaining a list of club umpires and contact details\nCirculating umpiring information to players\, coaches and club umpires within their club\nEncouraging club umpires to complete the HI Fundamentals of umpiring courses\nArranging club umpire coaching sessions or seminars supported by their provincial umpiring associations.\nAssisting Club Umpires if they have to report disciplinary incidents or Code of Conduct matters\nReviewing club umpiring performances intermittently\, and check in with club umpires regularly to ensure that they are progressing and supported.\n\nCost:  15 Euro \nWorkshop date: Sunday 5th October \nTime: 11am-2pm \nVenue– Portrane Hockey Club
