Why Choose Hockey Ireland Camps for your Children
As the national governing body for the sport in Ireland our camps are based on the ethos of fun and development while ensuring your child is in a safe environment! We cater for beginners right up to experienced players but pitch at each level to ensure your child has a fun, challenging and active week developing their technical and tactical hockey skills. Players are progressed according to their age group and ability. Groups will be assessed and selected by the Hockey Ireland coaches. All camps will focus on improving player development and fitness, S&C, general skills, attacking and defensive techniques, finishing with repetition, penalty corner defense and attack, small sided intensive games.
How Do We Ensure The Best for your Child?
We guarantee low coach to player ratio (1:10) so your child gets maximum attention.
All camps are staffed with our top qualified coaches, including some of Ireland’s International Players and Coaches. All of our coaches have been reference checked, Garda vetted and hold a minimum Level 1 coaching qualification.
To ensure child protection Irish Hockey Camps are in line with Hockey Ireland Code of Ethics for Young People, as well as all Camp staff being Code of Ethics compliant.
Hockey Ireland is a non-profit organisation so all proceeds from the summer camp are re-invested back into the sport.
