Simon Lowry and Christine O’Shea take up new roles as Hockey Ireland looks to future successes

August 16, Dublin: Hockey Ireland is thrilled to announce two new appointments as it strengthens its team and looks to deliver on its new strategic plan.

 

Simon Lowry joins Hockey Ireland in the role of Talent Development Manager. Simon brings with him a wealth of experience, coupled with a clear passion and enthusiasm for nurturing talent, which will be invaluable as Hockey Ireland looks to continue to build a strong pipeline of players for the future.

Christine O’Shea moves into the role of High-Performance Manager. Christine has had an outstanding tenure as Team Manager for the Ireland Senior Women’s Team, and her experience within the high-performance setting, combined with her organisational skills, makes her the perfect fit for this role.

Commenting on the appointments, Anne McCormack, Hockey Ireland CEO said: “I have every confidence that both Simon and Christine will make significant contributions to the future success of Hockey Ireland under the guidance of our Director of High Performance, Lisa Jacob.
