The National Indoor Championship
The National Indoor Trophy is open to all clubs to enter each season with the winners from both the Men’s and Women’s competitions progressing on to represent Ireland at the EuroHockey Club Indoor Championships the following season.
The addition of the Super 6 Sunday to the National Indoor Calendar, introduced in January 2025 has proved popular with players, teams and officials and has become a permanent fixture in the competitions schedule. Super 6 sees teams from each province play off for two places in the Finals Day where they will play the champions of either Leinster or Ulster in the semi-finals, with the winners of the two semi-finals progressing to the final on the same day. The winners will be crowned champions and represent Ireland in the EuroHockey Indoor Club Tournament the following year.
Information for the 2027 Indoor Competition will be circulated to provinces and clubs in January 2027.
The Hockey Ireland Indoor Tournaments (unless otherwise indicated) are conducted in accordance with the FIH rules of indoor hockey 2023
