Walking Hockey is a variation of the game where you walk instead of run. It’s designed to help people keep an active lifestyle regardless of age, health or ability. Whether you’re new to the sport, haven’t played for a while or had to stop due to injuries or other reasons, Walking Hockey allows you to pick up a stick in a fun and relaxed environment with like-minded people.
Basic Rules
- Walking hockey can be played indoors or outdoors
- Players have to walk which means one foot must be on the ground at all times.
- Adapt the pitch to suit the number of players and their level of experience and ability.
- Can play small sided games (4-5 a side)
- Use larger, lighter balls
- Goals can be scored from anywhere on the pitch.
- No physical contact between players.
