Lisnagarvey to host 2026 EY Champions Trophy Finals Weekend

Wednesday, February 4: Hockey Ireland are delighted to announce that Lisnagarvey HC will host the 2026 EY Champions Trophy Finals Weekend, taking place on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10.

The EY Champions Trophy Finals Weekend is one of the standout dates in the domestic hockey calendar, bringing together the top four Men’s and Women’s clubs from across Ireland to compete for national honours. Semi-finals will be played on Saturday, with the winners progressing to Sunday’s Finals to contest the coveted EY Champions Trophy titles.

In addition to national silverware, the stakes are high, with the Champions Trophy winners also securing qualification for the Euro Hockey League, Europe’s premier club competition. The EHL features leading clubs from major hockey nations including the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Germany, England, Scotland, and Ireland, offering Irish clubs the opportunity to test themselves on the continental stage.

The 2026 Finals Weekend will carry added significance, as it will also mark the final domestic hockey event of the 2025/26 season, providing a fitting climax to the campaign.

The competition moves to Lisnagarvey after being hosted at Banbridge Hockey Club for the past three years. Lisnagarvey HC bring a strong track record in delivering major hockey events, most recently hosting the EuroHockey Club Trophy last season, along with the 2025 Boys’ Interprovincial Series.

With high-quality facilities, proven organisational expertise, and a strong hockey community, Lisnagarvey promises an excellent stage for a Finals Weekend showcasing the very best of Irish club hockey.

Further details on match schedules, ticketing, and event activations will be announced in due course.
