The FIH Hockey Pro League is right around the corner, and with the final details being put in place at the Sport Ireland Campus, Dublin the excitement is palpable! To ensure you are prepared for what promises to be a thrilling event, here’s everything you need to know!
The Basics: What is the FIH Hockey Pro League?
The FIH Hockey Pro League – the “League of the Best!” – is an annual global League involving hockey’s best national teams in the world, Men and Women. The best team of the season – having accumulated the highest number of points at the end of the League – is crowned Champion and receives the coveted FIH Hockey Pro League Trophy. Winners of the league can gain qualification for several of hockey’s most coveted international tournaments, with the Season 7 (2025-26) winners qualifying for the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028!
Season 7 will be the first season the Irish Senior Women will compete in the FIH Hockey Pro League, with the very first games of the competition being played on Irish Soil as 3 Women’s [Ireland, England, Belgium] & 3 Men’s [Germany, England, Belgium] come to Dublin.
Where and When?
The event is taking place from December 9 to December 14 at the Sport Ireland Campus, Dublin with all 12 matches being played on the Hockey Ireland International Pitch.

Getting to the Sport Ireland Campus:
By Car:
The Sport Ireland Campus just off the Navan Road – N3 just off the M50 at Junction 6 and can be conveniently accessed by Car.
Those attending from Tuesday December 9 to Friday December 12 should enter via GATE A on Snugborough Road and park in the Aquatic Centre & GAA Car Park.
Those attending on Saturday, December 13 & Sunday, December 14 should enter via GATE B on Snugborough Road and park in the Indoor Arena Car Park.
Accessibility Parking is located next to the clubhouse.
By Coach:
For groups travelling to the venue by coach, please enter via Gate A on Snugborough Road and park in the Aquatic Centre Car Park.
By Public Transport:
38 or 38A – from O’Connell Street/ Hawkins Street in the City Centre to Snugborough Road in Blanchardstown.
N4 – from POINT VILLAGE to Snugborough Road
40D – to Rosemount Business Park
What to Bring:
Irish weather can change quickly, so arrive ready for all conditions. Even on bright days, temperatures can drop in open-air stands, so warm layers are essential – a fleece or insulated jacket, a waterproof outer layer, gloves, and a hat will keep you comfortable throughout the day.
While we hope for blue skies, planning for wind, rain, and cooler temperatures will make your matchday experience far more enjoyable. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, too, as this is a Standing Room Only Venue.
But most importantly, bring your voices! We want the Sport Ireland Campus to be the loudest and most unique venue for Season 7 of the FIH Hockey Pro League. Let’s show the world why Irish fans are the best there are and spur on our Ireland Senior Women!

Step into our Hockey Wonderland fan village, the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere before and between matches. With a selection of Hot Food & Drink to keep you warm and energised, Hockey Ireland Merchandise, and Festive Cheer to help get you excited for the Holiday Season!
The Fan Village is Free to Enter and can be entered without a ticket so if you were late to the party and couldn’t grab a place on the sideline, get down to our Hockey Wonderland at the Sport Ireland Campus and watch the matches on the Big Screen inside the village!
Tickets & Entry Requirements:
Tickets are required to access the venue and can be purchased online via our Hockey Ireland Ticketing Platform.
Upon Purchase, attendees will receive an email with a PDF of their ticket(s) attached. Please have this email ready upon arrival at the ticket gate to ensure smooth entry into the venue. Alternatively, print your tickets out to avoid any technical difficulties!
Tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival and cannot be purchased at the gate.
Please note that all the Ireland Women’s games are sold out but tickets are still available for Tuesday Dec 9 and Friday Dec 12.
Tickets are sold on a Per Day basis. This is a Standing Room Only event.
Safety & Security:
Your safety and comfort are a top priority throughout the event. Clearly marked stewards and security staff will be available across the venue to assist with directions, questions, or any issues that arise.
In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of venue staff and use the signposted exits around the venue. First aid points and medical personnel will be on hand throughout the day should you need any assistance. If you notice anything unusual or require help at any stage, please alert a steward immediately.
Please note: There will be a list of prohibited items at the entry gate, and we ask fans to refrain from bringing large bags and big umbrellas. We are expecting a very full venue and out of respect for all our viewing fans, we withhold the right to ask fans not to use umbrellas in the viewing area in the event of rain. Unfortunately, we will also not be able to accommodate dogs or pets at the venue.
