Ireland’s EuroHockey Championship Campaign will be broadcast live and free-to-air on RTÉ

Wednesday, June 25 – Dublin: RTÉ Sport has unveiled a thrilling summer line-up with over 90 days of free-to-air national and international sport, and hockey is right at the heart of it with all games of our Ireland Women’s team being broadcast from the EuroHockey Championships in Monchengladbach in August.

At the official launch, Ireland hockey captain Sarah Hawkshaw, alongside teammates Ellen Curran and Sarah Torrans, proudly represented Irish hockey as RTÉ reaffirmed its commitment to showcasing women’s sport on the national stage.

With hockey set to take centre stage at the European Championships, Irish fans will have the chance to follow every pass, tackle, and goal as the Green Army battles Europe’s best. Hawkshaw and co. will be part of a summer narrative that includes top-tier action in athletics, camogie, golf, rugby, and soccer, all available live and free-to-air via RTÉ on TV, radio, and online.

Women’s sport leads the way in this dynamic broadcast schedule, with RTÉ ensuring minute-by-minute coverage of landmark tournaments like the Women’s Euros, the Women’s Rugby World Cup, and of course, the Women’s European Hockey Championships, where Irish eyes will be firmly fixed on another major podium push.
