Who needs to register for Hockey Ireland Membership?
Anyone who is a member of a hockey club needs to register. Player, umpire, volunteer or off-field member (admin)

What happens if I get the Orange Box Error when registering?
This usually means that you either used an incorrect email address to register or chose Club instead of clicking on your ME number when registering.
I want to transfer to another club. What do I have to do?
In order to transfer to another club, you must first of all complete a transfer with your province. You do this by contacting your Club Administrator. Hockey Ireland cannot change your Club, this has to be initiated by your Club Administrator.
NOTE: Please do not register for the new Club, make sure you have transferred first. Otherwise, this will create a new ME number you will be duplicated on the system.
What is my ME number?
If you go to the Membership page there is a button that says ‘Check your Membership Number’
When does membership cover me from and to?
Membership starts on August 1st and you are covered to July 31st the following year.

What are the checkpoints for Compliance?
Hockey Ireland will be monitoring membership on a monthly basis and will notify clubs if not compliant.

I am a volunteer. Do I need to register?
Yes you need to register. If you are a non player, you can register for Basic Membership.
If you are a player and a volunteer, you need to register for a Senior/Junior Membership.
