Who has had the most influence on your career: Definitely my father, driving me all over the country to training and games. Wouldn’t be where I am today without him. From a Hockey point of view growing up watching David Harte and seeing a goalie from Munster make it to the very top was a massive inspiration.
Best advice you received from a coach: “On time is late” although not specific to hockey it is a mantra I have always followed. Getting to training and matches early means you are set up well and can get the most out of every session or match.
Advice to young hockey players: Watch as much hockey as possible to learn from the best and don’t forget to enjoy it and most importantly have fun.
